Fitness 4 Life

It's been a while since I've posted, but I haven't abandoned the cause. I'm glad people from all over the world are still reading the articles of which I poured any knowledge I had on building a strong healthy body.

As of 2017 fitness is still a big part of my life and always will be. It's amazing how once you've put in the work for long enough the benefits will stick with you, provided you do it in a chemical free and healthy way. No short cuts, just pure training, good eating, and the aspects of Five Point Fitness that I've stressed in the philosophy.

It's important to remember that we are all at different levels and have different goals. My goals now are much different than they were when I was actively writing this blog. As I stated in the beginning, my idea of ideal fitness is prone to change over time. Things that are important to some are not so important to others, and things that are obvious to others, some have yet to learn.

I hope that folks will continue to come across this and that those who do will find it beneficial. I still use the methods outlined, some more then others. Use what works for you, but consider the whole. If you don't like doing something because you feel your bad at it, perhaps that's the first thing you should work on.

While most people are reminiscing their prime as if it has come and gone, by following the guidelines on this blog your prime can be a mountain that continues to grow the higher you climb until its peaks reach into the heavens.

Kaze's Back Building Blue Print: Bigger Back = Better Physique

Are you working out religiously and eating loads, yet still feel like a scrawny shrimp? Well, I can relate. Don't' get me wrong I don't aspire to be a mass monster or anything like that. If anything I'd rather be lean and agile than big and brutish, but I can't deny a part of me wants the best of both worlds. I found what many aspiring lifters are lacking is a thick, wide, powerful back. This is crucial for a strong looking physique as the back is not only seen from behind, but emphasizes (or de-emphasizes) your frame from every angle.

Self-Realization: The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Some seem to share a misguided notion that focusing on your own growth is a selfish thing to do. I disagree, it is my belief turning your focus inward, learning, and doing what it takes to improve yourself is a necessary step on the path to becoming selfless.

Core Royal: Stomach Vacuums Suck!

Bad pun aside, vacuums are definitely effective for tightening and toning your core. A favorite technique of Arnie, Zane, and other golden era bodybuilding legends, It's hard to argue with that kind of resume. Another reason to train vacuums, is that they are incredibly easy to learn and you can do them anywhere;

How to Kip Up: Coordination & Agility (With Video)

The kip up is a fun little way to get back to your feet. Much quicker and less awkward than having to get up from your knees. With a bit of conditioning and some practice, it can be easier too!

Five Point Fitness: Flexibility Training

Stretching is one of the most beneficial activities you can do for your fitness. It's an aspect of training that is often neglected in these fast times. It requires you to slow down, breathe deep, and assess your limitations.
