This recipe will have you looking foreword to eating your oatmeal.
Down a bowl pre, post-workout, or for a hearty breakfast with a side of scrambled eggs. It's got complex carbs, fiber, potassium, fast acting whey protein, slow digesting protein, and healthy fats from the almond butter. Guaranteed to fill, and fuel you up right. So carb up!
-2 cups water
-1 cup rolled oats
-1/4 cup almond milk
-1-2 scoops of chocolate whey protein powder
-2 tbs almond butter
-1 banana
- Boil water, and pour in oats.
- Simmer on low-med heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-Pour cooked oats into bowl, and throw in a splash of almond milk.
- Add chocolate whey, stir until well mixed.
-Scoop in a couple tbs of almond butter, and stir, letting it melt into a gooey consistency.
-Slice banana into the concoction.
-Devour.
